Amazon is a wonderfully original range of chilli sauces. It’s number one ingredient is the brightly coloured and fresh flavoured Amazon pepper. This was the result of an accidental cross pollination between a cayenne pepper and a local Columbian chilli variety called pipón.
However it happens this is the main ingredient in this delicious sweet and spicy mix, which is absolutely perfect as a sweet and hot glaze for meats, a fish accompaniment, it’s also ideal for fried and breaded foods, BBQ, hamburgers, tacos and rice.
