Chillies are becoming more and more popular plants to grow due – some are really simple to grow and almost guaranteed large crops (that can be stored and dried for all year use).
With the added bonus of using the of chillies in the kitchen, they are sure to spice up any garden.
Some people have great difficulty getting the Bhut Jolokia and Naga Jolokia varieties to germinate – they need alot of heat and have a long germination period.
The same can be said about the Habanero and Scotch Bonnet chilli, but slightly less so….
The plants we always have success with are the Jalapeno, the Birds Eye (or Zimbabwean), the Purple Price (aka Cuban) also got us tremendous results – as did the Nu Mex Twilight.
