Nutritional Information

The capsicum (which is popularly known as chilli, chili, chile or pepper) has a number of very positive effects on our health.

It helps to boost our immune system with a high dose vitamin C – not many people know that chillies contain more vitamin C than citrus fruits. Also, unlike many foods when they are cooked, the chilli only loses one third of its vitamin C content so you don’t have to worry too much about eating them raw!

Chillis are:

  • Low in Sodium
  • High in Vitamin A
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin K
  • Vitamin B6
