Bhut Jolokia Chilli Seeds

Bhut Jolokia aka Naga Jolokia / Ghost Chilli / Ghost Pepper / Naga Morich / King Cobra

This pepper occurs naturally in North Eastern India. In 2007, it was confirmed by Guinness World Records to be the Hottest Chilli in the World, replacing the Red Savina, which was the Guinness World Record holder at that time.

In 2000, scientists at India’s Defence Research Laboratory reported a rating of 855,000 units on the Scoville Heat Rating Scale, and in 2004 an Indian company obtained a rating of 1,041,427 units.

This amazing pepper is a favourite of The English Chilli Company and here are seeds – so you can grow your own Bhut Jolokia chillies and see how hot chillies really can be…
